WOODSTOCK, GA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION PRESENTS

The Woodstock Community Business Association is hosting its 5th Annual Business Celebration and Community Appreciation event on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Woodstock City Park on Main Street in Woodstock from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Local businesses will host booths with information, products, services and give-away items. Adults and children alike will enjoy.

Friday Night Live "Summer of Love"

Friday, August 06, 2010 5 TO 9 PM

Spend the first Friday of every month in Olde Towne Woodstock and enjoy the many restaurants and stores that the area has to offer as the Downtown Merchants stay open late, 5pm-9pm This is the third year for the Friday Night Live series.



For each Friday Night Live theme participating Downtown Merchants will have activities going on at their stores and throughout the Downtown area related to the theme of the month. Friday Night Live also features great music as bands play throughout Downtown Woodstock in front of the stores which adds to the street festival feel of the event.


August 6th Summer of Love- we can promise a summer-lovin’ time. Break out the tie-dyes & head bands for a little early autumn fun as the history of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival is celebrated! Peace, Love, and Rock & Roll.


Friday Night Live events start at 5pm. Live Music, Fantastic Food & Festive Activities. Forget the malls. Save the Gas Money for Great Shopping Deals! Come and enjoy your community!

May - September

Put on your dancing shoes for the best community concert series in the state! Celebrating its 13th year, we’ll be serving up a free eclectic musical brew of classic rock, current country, oldies, and rhythm & blues in the lovely downtown City Park. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and come early; food vendors, a moonwalk, and face painting for the kids are standards at every concert! July 3rd FreedomFest:
Saturday, July 3rd

Presented by LGE Community Credit Union

Our HUGE parade kicks off the celebration at 10:00 am. The parade starts at Hwy. 92 (old WalMart/Furniture Express) and goes north on Main Street through the Olde Town merchant district to Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Rd. After the parade, join us in the downtown City Park until 3:00 pm for food, Adam the juggler, Tim the Magician, musical entertainment, children’s games, watermelon seed spitting contest, cake walk, arts and crafts, and vendors of all types. Fun for young and old! Don’t forget the Annual Woodstock Freedom Run at 7:30 am. The day concludes with fireworks at dusk behind the Target shopping center at Hwy 92 and I-575.
